You are almost there but use this method will make yourself confuse. (If you use this model to solve, you have remember the total volume is 5/6 liter and it is not 6/6 liter initially.)
Actually just straight forward:
5/6 liter of paint.
Used 1/3 of its and means left over 2/3.
Answer, 5/6 liter x 2/3 = 5/9 liter.
