I) tip: for more complicated expressions, I will break it down and factories everything so that you can apply the chain and product rule.
Ii) use y-y1 = m (x-x1), so that you can find equation faster instead of first finding C
Hope this helps! ;))

hi! i just dont understand why we should sub in 0 into 2(-3)^-2 (4)^1/2 ? why not the whole equation
For the first part of the dy/dx equation, there's a x alone in front so when you sub x=0, it will be 0 because 0 times anything is 0. To save time during exams etc, you don't need sub x= 0 for first part and can just continue with the rest.
This also helps to minimize carelessness because sometimes people sub wrongly so make your working look as simple as possible to make it easier to double check calculations and makes it look less intimidating.

when I sub 0 into the eqn I get -19/36, which is wrong. I can’t seem to get to your answer.
Is it possible to send me your working?
I see!! I’ve found my mistake! thank u very much for your help <3
no problem! :))
