1d: By looking at the equation, we can tell that the coefficient, 4 and the constant, 49 are actually square numbers. Therefore, we can factor the equation to solve it, instead of using the formula method, as it will be longer to solve
2b: Since the equation is already factorised, we can just bring the square (^2) over to the right hand side of the equation to make the equation on the left hand side easier to solve. Do take note, when we square root a number, always put in the plus minus sign beside the square root, as square roots can be negative or positive
