Let n be the number of men at the start.
Total score of all men = 70*n
After 1 extra man joined with score of 50,
Total score of all men = 70*n + 50
Total number of men now = n+1
Average score of all men now = (70*n +50)/(n+1) = 68.
70*n + 50 = 68*n + 68
Solve for n
Total score of all men = 70*n
