if y is LESS than a certain number, then X will b a series of numbers , meaning the X will be in between 2 numbers in this case it is in between -3/2 and - 1/2
if Y is MORE than a certain number, then X will not b a series of number , it will be 2 different ranges of number. for eg. X> 3 or X < 0
