I believe system Y is the circulatory system.(I’m not sure what do you call it but you know what I mean.. is it cardiovascular system? Hehe)
Your blood contains not only oxygen,carbon dioxide but also contains other stuff like nutrients(digested food) and waste material that can be harmful to the body.
For example, waste material will be transported to your kidney and nutrients(digested food) will be transported to the cells after being absorbed in the digestive system.
