It’s quite easy actually, so let 0 be the centre point. The numbers before have a minus sign, and increase in that direction. The numbers after the 0 have a + sign, which are generally ignored. They also increase in the opposite direction. With this knowledge, you should be able to identify how it works, right? An example would be -22 is smaller that -5
