“log” can be interpreted as to base 10 or base e if a reader is not careful, so you would need to indicate this clearly.

Yes, it can be. A little rustic with details. Doing these question after almost 10-12 years I just assumed the knowledge of basic integration. It's natural log, hope this helps.
