There are two things you need to do:
- find the pattern for the fractions
- use algebra to simplify the expression
The algebraic simplification portion is unfortunately meant for Sec 2 students and not Sec 1 students because most Sec 1 students only learn linear expansions in Express Maths.
Unless your syllabus is IP or you are ahead of others in maths…
