what is k like is k the x intercept ?
why is k more then 3- sqroot 2 and not more then or = to 3-sqroot 2

yes k is the x-intercept! if it is = , then it won’t be >0, but rather = 0 at that point. i’ll draw a graph and attach it hopefully you will be able to understand it better!
