Well, firstly, the amino acid is too large to pass through the partially permeable cell membrane.
Honestly I could understand why you would have picked B because carbon dioxide diffuses in the red blood cells first and the carbonic anhydrase converts carbon dioxide into carbonic acid (HCO3-) which is then dissolved in the plasma right haha
