Please elaborate, thank you.
PQRS is a square.
All 4 sides of a square are equal in length.
So PQ = QR = SR = PS
But the other two are rectangles (ABQP and SRCD)
Opposite sides of a rectangle are equal in length.
So AB = PQ, BQ = AP
SR = DC, RC = SD
When you compare them you'll realise that :
AB = PQ = QR = SR = DC = PS
All 4 sides of a square are equal in length.

So AB = PQ, BQ = AP

When you compare them you'll realise that :
AB = PQ = QR = SR = DC = PS
Since PS + SD = 48 cm, and BQ + QR = 32cm,
Then AB + AP = QR + BQ = 32cm
DC + RC = PS + SD = 48cm
Total = PS + SD + DC + RC + QR + BQ + AB + AP
= 48 cm + 48 cm + 32 cm + 32 cm = 160 cm
Then AB + AP = QR + BQ = 32cm
DC + RC = PS + SD = 48cm
Total = PS + SD + DC + RC + QR + BQ + AB + AP
= 48 cm + 48 cm + 32 cm + 32 cm = 160 cm
If still unclear, let me know. I'll draw on the diagram
Thank you very much, understand now.
