Daniel’s money = x+21

"1/3 of Damien's money is the same as 4/5 of Philip's money"
----> (1/3)(x+21) = (4/5)x
multiply by 15, the LCD
5(x+21) = 12x
5x + 105 = 12x
105 = 7x
x = 15

So Philip has 15 and Damian has 36
together they have 36 + 15 = 51
