(i)
Number of outcomes with two pears = 2
Probability = number of required outcomes / total number = 2/12 = 1/6
(ii)
Number of outcomes with at least 1 apple = 9
Probability = 9/12 = ¾
OR
Number of outcomes with no apples = 3
Probability = 1 - P(no apples picked) = 1 - 3/12 = 1 - ¼ = ¾
