Hi, im kind of confused, resultant u+3v does not add up from u and v….Im still puzzled in getting the magnitude of 3v

This is vector. What do you mean? u + 3v is the vector sum. The angle between u and v is 79 degrees.

Magnitude of v is 4. Magnitude of 3 v is = 3×4.
