Equate 2n + 8 to 57 and find what n is.
2n + 8 = 57
2n = 57 - 8
2n = 49
n = 49/2 = 24½
n has to be a positive integer i.e natural numbers (1,2,3,4,... and so on) but here n is a mixed number so it cannot be one of the terms in a sequence)
