a) From 0 to 4 months, the greater the number of cells in the mouse, the greater the mass of the mouse.
b) After the 4th months, the mouse stops growing and thus its cells stops dividing. Hence, its mass remains the same.
c) An elephant has more cells than a mouse. This causes the elephant to have a greater mass than a mouse.
