The diagram for Q3 shows a tube connecting to the womb and the fetus. It is called the umbilical cord which transports nutrients to and waste material away.

Q3: Tube Y transports nutrients and oxygen through the mothers blood to the fetus and transports waste materials and carbon dioxide away in the fetus blood to the mother
