696 = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3 * 29
HCF is pick out all common factors:
HCF = 2 * 2 * 2 * 3
= 24
B) area of room = 456 * 696
= 317376 m^2
The room is to be tiled with square tiles,
and since 24 is the largest factor:
Both length can be divided by 24,
So choose 24cm * 24cm as the square tile:
Area of square tile = 24 * 24
= 576 m^2
:. Number of tiles needed
= 317376 / 576
= 551 tiles //
