$5→: 2→→: 3

Value : Steve : James
$2: 4u×$2=8u: 1u×$2=2u
$5: 2p×$5=10p: 3p×$5= 15p
Given, they have same amount, therefore,
8u+10p = 2u+15p
6u = 5p
Hence, u=5,p=6 to get the same amount.

Check the amount...
Value : Steve : James
$2→: 4×$2=8×5 : 1×$2=2×5
Total : →→40:→→→→10
$5→: 2×$5=10×6: 3×$5= 15×6
Total :→→→60: →→→→90
Each have $100:$100
Answer = $100
But there are many other answer in same ratio...Like $1000:$1000.
