How did u get $120 ？
The initial ratio is 5:4
So we will understand it as 5units : 4units
5u-20 (Alice spent $20)
4u+10 (Bernice received $10)
And the amount they have became the same.
So 5u-20 = 4u+10
Each unit is $30
Hence if Bernice initially had 4units of $30, 4x30 =$120
So we will understand it as 5units : 4units
