So first we find how many boys and girls there are.
Boys is z
Girls is 40 (class total) - boys (z) which is 40-z
So now we find how many stamps there are.
Boys stamps = 3 x Z =3z
Girls stamps = (40-z) x 5 = 200-5z
200-5z + 3z = 200-2z
