But didnt the 15 over 26 fractions needa flip so it become 26 over 15?

No. Is multiple × 15/26.
If ÷ 15/26 then when change to ×, you need to flip 26/15
Example ⅔ ÷ ⅔ then = ⅔ × 3/2 = 1
