Remember the formulae for volume of cylinder and volume of a cuboid. For the second part, know the formulae to calculate surface area of cylinder. In this case, we know that the cylinder sides are the additional area needed to be painted.

Is there a careless mistake? I noted that the cuboid has different dimensions for its faces. So I believe there's a mistake for the part whereby you multiply 4(16)(24) for the 4 faces? Shouldn't it be 2(15)(24) + 2(16)(24)? Thanks
