Thank you. I’m not the student btw but just want to check that primary 5 has not been taught algebra yet right? I thought they are expected to use the model method to solve such questions.

Model method. Follow the 1st information, we knew Gabriel have 160 more than Isaac. 2nd information tell us that the difference between them is 3u = 52+160+52. Hope this helps.
