If she ate 1/4 of the cookies and gave 3/10 of them, she will be left with:

1 - (1/4) - (3/10) = 9/20 left

Since 27 cookies is 9/20 of the all cookies,
She had a total of:

(27/9) × 20 = 60 cookies.

Forgot to add this on (since I'm typing here I couldn't see the question/image).

If she had 60 cookies total, 3/10 of it will be 18.
So she gave 18 cookies.
