Lone 3: (x + 2)^2 MINUS 4 = 12
The idea is,
x^2 + 4x
= x^2 + 4x + (4/2)^2 - (4/2)^2
= (x + 2)^2 - 4
x^2 + 4x
= x^2 + 4x + (4/2)^2 - (4/2)^2
= (x + 2)^2 - 4
