shouldn't the answer to the second question be 270g? if he needs to make 450g of pastry, then instead of assuming 9:4:2 if for 1g of pastry, shouldn't we apply the ratio to 450g? and thus 9+4+2=15, 450/15=30, and 9x30=270g?

Ya if u assume as such then the flour can be 270g, the question is basically testing thw assumption concept. So u must state what u assume first
