a) 49 - (4p-q)^2
7^2 - (4p-q)^2
b) x^2 + y^2 = 12
x + y = 4
x * x + y * y = 3 (x + y)
x * x + y * y = 3x + 3y
x * x + y * y / (x+y) = 3
xy = 3
10 * xy = 30

x + y = 4
x * x + y * y = 3 (x + y)

xy = 3
10 * xy = 30
Got rusty that last move was actually not allowed

X2 + y2 = 12
X+ y = 4
(x+y)(x+y) = x2 + 2xy + y2
2xy +12 = 16
2xy =4
Xy = 2
10xy = 20
X2 + y2 = 12
X+ y = 4
(x+y)(x+y) = x2 + 2xy + y2
2xy +12 = 16
