Wait why must do -(×-1) ?
(x-1) is not the same as (1-x). In order to cancel with the other denominator, must factorise the negative out. Must be exactly the same to cancel off.

I do exactly like you but i nvr get -x for numerator
Did you cancel x-1 or 1-x?
