Haha this question went viral...
Ha ha.. discuss among parent too.
The first thing I noticed when I saw this post online was a clockwise rotation of numbers until I realised that the third sequence does not fit.
This is more of a P1 Olympiad /IQ test-style question
Top left corner + 3 = bottom left corner
? + 3 = 8
? = 8 - 3
= 5
