why the angles in opp segment rule cannot be applied on BCDO instead of BCDA tho

For the property of "angles in opp. segment are supplementary" to be applied, easiest way to understand is that all the 4 points MUST be on the circumference (hence the "opp. segment").

BCDO - O is not on the circumference, so there is no "opp. segment" in this case. Therefore, the
property could not be used.

BCDA - since all the 4 points are on the circumference, there would be "opp. segment" and the property could be used. I hope this clarifies eh, thanks.

To further elaborate, look at BCDA again:
(1) Angle BCD and angle BAD are angles in opp. segment.

Or
(2) Angle ABC and angle ADC are also angles in opp. segment.
