Although the mid-point theorem is not officially in the syllabus, its very useful in many such questions, as well as those involving parallelograms and rhombus.

Actually the midpoint theorem is in the syllabus (4049), under topic section G3 in the syllabus outline.
Good that they brought it back. Have not really looked through the most recent syllabus change. Thanks for the info, Eric.
