R is directly proportional to l
Let R = hl, h is a constant ①
R is inversely proportional to r²
Let R = g/r², g is a constant ②

① × ② :
R × R = hl × g/r²
R² = ghl / r²
R = √(ghl / r²)
R = √(ghl) / √(r²)
R = √(gh) √l / r
R = k√l / r, where k = √(gh)

b)
rR = k√l
r = k√l / R
