I have the solution in the textbook, however, I do not know how the answer are derive as it is too simplified. Hope someone can explain it to me.

Thank you so much Ms Tham :) it helps. Can I just check for Mean, do we always put K infront of the equation (2/9, in this case)

k is present in the f(y) and k is a constant multiplier. So for integration, k can be placed outside of integration as a constant multiplier.
