2x²- x = 5 + 2x
2x² - x - 2x = 5
2x² - 3x = 5

Multiplying both sides by 3,

6x² - 9x = 15

Adding 2 to both sides,

6x² - 9x + 2 = 15 + 2
6x² - 9x + 2 = 17

So, the value of 6x² - 9x + 2 in this instance is 17.
