Start from a certain number of teachers and students.
100 teachers, 10 students
100 x 5 + 10 x 3 = 500 + 30 = 530
(too many)
80 teachers, 30 students
80 x 5 + 30 x 3 = 400 + 90 = 490
(Still too many)
60 teachers, 50 students
60 x 5 + 50 x 3 = 300 + 150 = 450
(Still too many)
50 teachers, 60 students
50 x 5 + 60 x 3 = 250 + 180 = 430
(Just right)
100 teachers, 10 students
100 x 5 + 10 x 3 = 500 + 30 = 530
(too many)
80 teachers, 30 students
80 x 5 + 30 x 3 = 400 + 90 = 490
(Still too many)
60 teachers, 50 students
60 x 5 + 50 x 3 = 300 + 150 = 450
(Still too many)
