The length of the cuboid box is equal to 3 diameters of a sphere, since the box fits 3 spherical candles exactly lengthwise.
The breadth of the cuboid box is equal to 2 diameters of a sphere, since the box fits 2 spherical candles exactly breadthwise.
The height of the cuboid box is equal to 1 diameter of a sphere, since the spheres just touch both the top and bottom faces of the box exactly.
Knowing this, you can now find the box's volume. Subtract the volume of the 6 spheres from it to get the volume of empty space.
