First, find out the volume of Tank X
Second, Calculate what is the amount of water being transferred into Tank Y (3/4 of Tank X)
Third, calculate the capacity of Tank Y.
Last Subtract Full capacity of Tank Y and The amount of water poured over. That will give you the amount of water needed to fill Tank Y
