3U=27+48=75
1U=75/3=25

hey yes sorry, i made a mistake. should be 27+48 instead. if we work backwards, your answer is right. good job!

first, express 0.4 as a fraction. then, draw models to help you understand. if ultimately girls = boys, then 2u+27 = 5u-48. hope this is clear!
