Area of triangle
1/2 x 10 x 12 = 60cm2
60-20 = 40cm2 (unshaded triangle)
Area of rectangle
10 x 12 = 120cm2
120-20 = 100cm2 (unshaded rectangle)
100+40 = 140cm2
Ans : 140
