Have to ask ourselves: how many times can I go in at a non-member rate with $135 (the membership price)?
$135 / $11 = 12.27 times => 13 times

Assuming you get the membership, when you enter on the 13th time, the price of entrance becomes less than $11. Therefore cheaper than non-member rate.

Hi, ur answer is only correct if there is a particular condition, that is, u may visit the gym for free if u have the membership. Otherwise, u have to include the $2 fee in ur calculation.

The main point we can conclude from the question is that we want non-member price>member price. Therefore we can let the number of times she go to the gym be an expression, in this case we use x. Now we can form an inequality for which the question condition is valid, then we can solve for the minimum number of times she visit the gym.
