hello~ need help with this because when i typed into the calculator it says "math error" please help point out the mistake i made

Well, the formula is only used in Sec 3 onwards, but one of these could happen:
1. The student could be in IP stream
2. The student has learnt this in Sec 2 (i.e. the school taught this in Sec 2 somehow)
3. The student is attempting a Sec 3 paper as a Sec 2 student (for a challenge)
It's already good that the student can recite the formula almost correctly (with the slight hiccup there). According to one of my students, one of the student's teachers recited the formula in the school until even the Sec 2 students hear them on a regular basis and know the formula inside out.
