Taking amount of money initially as 1.
Amount spent on books = 2/3
Amount left after spending on books = 1/3
Amount spent on drawing set = 3/5 of 1/3
= 1/5 of initial money
Amount left to save = 1 - 2/3 - 1/5
= 2/15 of original (Answer)
b)
$248 = 2/15
Original amount = $1860 (Answer)
