k must bigger or equal to 2. Orelse you still manage to get negative root. May try if k=0,
You will get x=1 and -1

One of the roots x = 1 is already positive.
The other root, k/2 -1, since k > 4 then you can show k/2 -1 is also positive.

k > 4 since squareroot of a number must be greater than 0
