Can this be solved using inverse proportion?
Yes, i am using the concept of inverse proportion, as can be seen from the first line to the second line. Cause with more hours to build the house, less workers are needed.
I'm sorry, but could you please use y= k/X to solve this? I don't quite understand your working.
The first step to the second step is inverse, second to third is direct proportion.
For the first step, the equation is 50=k/24
k= 1200
30=1200/?
?=40
