Hi I don’t understand the answer for this question for example they wanted to find exterior angle I don’t understand why It’s using 180-156° like why is it 180 instead of 360 I thought 360 would be used to find exterior angle and why is it 360 divided by N to find number of sides someone please explain clearly for me thank you so much!

180-156= 24 is one of the exterior angle. For all exterior angle = 360
Therefore, find total have how many exterior angle will be same as number of side. i.e, 360/24 = 15

Ria, when we refer to the exterior angle, we are not actually referring to the “entire exterior” of the angle. To some extent, I agree that the phrase used is misleading, because anything which is not inside a shape must be outside the shape and must be in the “exterior”.

In Maths, when we talk about exterior angles, we are actually referring to the angle which complements the interior angle such that the sum of both angles is 180.

Also, your blue working is valid, except that the fraction on the right hand side should be 13/15 instead of 15/13.
