a)No. Of girls = 0.6(40)=24 girls
b) After some boys left , % of boys become 20% and girls is 80%.
Total no. of students after some boys left=24/0.8=30 people
no. of boys left = 40-30=10 boys(answer)

The number of girls did not change so you can use it to find the total number of students after some boys left.
