I don’t know how to solve c). Do we just let k be any value above 1? If so, wouldn’t there be more than 1 type of line? (E.g when k=2, the gradient is 2. But when k=3, the gradient changes to 3 and the line would different). I don’t need the graph to be drawn, I just need an explanation. Thank you :)

Substitute y=0 to find the x-intercept.
When y=0, x =-1. So x-intercept=-1
Substitute x=0 to find y-intercept.
When x=0, y=k. So y-intercept=k
It is a linear equation and Since k>1, it is a positive gradient line.
Just plot a line with x-intercept=-1 and y-intercept=k.
