Ahmad had 100 more marbles than Ben. Let the number of marbles Ben originally had be 4x.

Then Ahmad originally had (4x+100) marbles. Ahmad gave half of that amount, which is (2x+50) to Ben.

Ben now has (6x+50) marbles and Ahmad now has (2x+50) marbles.

Ben gives half of this amount, (3x+25) marbles, to Ahmad. At the end, Ahmad has (5x+75) marbles while Ben has (3x+25) marbles.

Knowing that Ahmad now has 84 more marbles than Ben,
(5x+75) - (3x+25) = 84
2x + 50 = 84
2x = 34
x = 17.

Hence, Ahmad had 5(17) + 75 = 160 marbles at the end.

P.S. It is 94 instead of 84. Therefore x should be 22 and the answer should be 185 instead, my bad ^^
